For apps with a Bangkok-heavy base, mid-evening on weekdays often beats late night. People are still reachable without feeling interrupted from sleep.
Lunch windows can work for content and utility apps; shopping and food apps usually prefer after-work hours. Weekend mid-mornings are kinder than early Saturday alarms.
We advise testing two send slots per cohort rather than rotating through six. Too many slots muddy the read on whether the message or the clock moved the return rate.
Public holidays and major football nights change open patterns. Keep a simple calendar of local events next to your send planner.
If your audience spans several regions, split Bangkok from secondary cities before declaring a “best hour.” A single national send time rarely serves both well.
